Textured hair "must-have' (part 1)
Textured hair "must-have' (part 1)
The basis of the MUST-HAVEs, you already know it, it is of course your 3 favorite TROIS FOR ALL products for a simple and express hair routine.
The most important thing being said, let's focus on all the little tips to put into practice on a daily basis and the accessories to enhance our hair.
The microfiber towel or a cotton T-shirt to dry your hair
And yes, it's not necessarily the most intuitive because you have to revisit a long-standing habit, but be aware that the classic bath towel is very drying for hair, especially textured hair. In addition to the harmful effects of friction, its material absorbs too much water present on our hair fiber, which contributes to drying it out.
After your washing routine, opt instead for a microfiber towel or a simple cotton T-shirt. They allow us to dry our hair without damaging it. Excess water is removed while protecting the hair fiber. This technique is particularly used in what is called “plopping”.
Your hair will be healthier and better prepared to benefit from your leave-in (leave-in cream).
The satin pillowcase or satin or silk nightcap
We don't think about it enough but during our sweet nights, our hair often has a bad time. With each movement on the pillow, they are attacked by friction and their hydration is put a little more to the test. We're hardly exaggerating...
Simply try sleeping with a satin or silk pillow for 1 week, and you will see the difference.
The diffuser
Depending on its texture, porosity and thickness, our hair takes more or less time to dry. To speed up the process, instead of letting it dry in the open air or under a microfiber towel if you follow the “plopping” method, you can use a diffuser.
Unlike the classic hair dryer whose heat is often very strong and targeted on each section, the heat of the diffuser is, as its name suggests, diffuse and much less aggressive for the hair fiber. You don't need to set the heat level too high, the important thing is to make the right gestures by bringing the ends towards the roots to perfect the definition of the curls.
The diffuser will then dry the hair evenly, limiting frizz and enhancing your curls.

Clips and barrettes suitable for textured hair
Hair accessories have real added value for “pimping up” our hairstyles. We know that textured hair stands out for its limitless versatility. Don't set any limits on the hairstyles you can achieve, you can simply do it all! And with good decorative accessories you can have even more fun. The key is to find the models that suit our hair. To tie them, opt for the spiral elastic or the silk scrunchie. The 1st allows you to have good hold of the attachment without breaking the hair at the point of impact. His invention quite simply revolutionized the elastic market - goodbye to broken hair wrapped around the piece of iron hanging on old models.
The silk scrunchie, and more generally all silk accessories, are an excellent way to enhance your looks while protecting your hair from drying out. In contact with silk, the hair glides and remains soft thanks to the maintenance of hydration. So don’t hesitate, plain, colorful, patterned, scrunchies, headbands or silk scarves, let go: your hair will love them!
